An activity that aims to create ideas and applications from application development actors in Indonesia that can be utilized or developed into a solution that can be used as a form of development of InaRISK BNPB in 2021.

Unlike the suggestion box in general that we don't know if it will be read or not, inaRISK Hackathon Fest 2021 is a sure-to-read suggestion box. For selected suggestions will be invited to find a joint solution for the development of inaRISK.

In addition, for pandemic generations who often participate in webinars, watch tutorials or online classes, it's time for you to test the skills that have been honed for #stayathome. This event was created as a fun event, but the idea you create will have an impact on disaster risk reduction.

Participants of inaRISK Hackathon Fest 2021 are Indonesian citizens with the age of at least 18 years and a maximum of 40 years old on December 31, 2021.

Participants inaRISK Hackathon Fest 2021 is a team of 3 (three) people who each have at least expertise in:

  • Digital Solution: Spatial Programming, Database, and Data Science (including AI and Big Data)
  • Mobile Apps: Mobile apps developer, UI/UX, communication and education.

Our team is not experienced in the Hackathon, can I join?

Don't worry, just sign up! We will provide guidebooks, mentors and briefings as a means of learning in the field of technology for disaster risk reduction. We hope the experience of this event can be a new learning medium for you.

Virtual Hackathon, Will the experience be different?

Our team works very hard to bring some of the best parts of a physical hackathon to you virtually. We have some exciting new ideas and important parts of the hackathon event will be there. You can still connect with other teams, learn new skills, and network with our sponsors.

What do I need?

You need a laptop, desktop computer or some other technical device to work and a stable internet connection to connect with our livestreaming. Software needs and other technical details will be explained in the briefing session. We will also be discord to facilitate communication during the event. Also, make sure you and your team bring a positive attitude and passion to help provide disaster risk reduction solutions!

When is registration open?

Registration will open on May 10, 2021 and close on May 30 at 11:59 PM. There will be a selection of 25 teams at an early stage, If your team is accepted, then your team has a week to confirm your registration. When is InaRISK Hackathon Fest 2021?
